Fireman Outdoor Garden Statue Custom Paint Work...

A customer brought in an outdoor stone fireman garden statue.

Here at Dunrite we primed the statue. Then we did a custom detailed paint job. For the final process the statue was cleared to withstand the outdoor weather.

1966 Chevy Impala SS Convertible Restoration Work

Removal of rusted and rotted floor pan due to corrosion.

The car body was lifted off the frame so the old rusted and corroded floor could be cut from the vehicle.

New floor pan.

New brackets were welded in for the seats.

A new floor pan was welded in. Seam sealer was applied to the floor pan. Seam Sealer is a vital function and it provides a moisture barrier that prevents water from getting into places where it could ultimately cause problems like rust stains and damage.

The new floor pan was undercoated on the bottom. Undercoating helps protect the vehicle against rust and corrosion. The top of the new floor pan was sealed. The sealer provides a corrosion protection for the primer. The floor pan was then primed and painted and new carpeting was installed.

Wheel rims can make or break the look of your car. Buying custom rims can be costly for a lot of car owners, refinishing your rims by investing in powder coating can be a great option.

Powder coating is an alternative to traditional rim painting, done with liquid paint. ... With powder coating first, a thick layer of colored powder is sprayed onto the surface of your wheel using an electrostatic gun.

Once the powder coating particles are sprayed onto your wheel rims , the rims are baked in an oven at very high temperatures. This baking process not only causes the particles to fuse together, but it actually allows the powder coating to cure. The end result is a thicker, more durable surface coverage.

Bucks Drill team's vehicle is getting an overhaul with a fresh new paint job...

The body was disassembled. Each panel was sanded to smooth out imperfections. Then primed and blocked out for the final stage before getting ready for paint.

Certain parts were then sprayed with a 2-part liner spray.

Parts and vehicle is then masked with detail to get ready for the final stage of paint.

Vehicle is then sprayed with a two part bed liner spray.

The finishing coat is then applied.

Vehicle is cleaned and prepped for delivery.

Vehicle VIN Number- The identifying code for a specific vehicle. It acts as a virtual fingerprint. No two vehicles have the same VIN. The VIN can be used to track recalls, registrations, warranty claims, thefts and insurance coverage.

Here is what the various numbers and letters of the VIN number signify:

1st Character: Where the vehicle was built/country of origin.

2nd & 3rd Character: The manufacturer or FCA US LLC vehicle brand. Flexible fuel vehicles are noted by the 2nd & 3rd characters.

4th – 8th Characters: Vehicle brand, engine size and type.

9th Character: Security code that identifies the VIN as being authorized by the manufacturer.

10th Character: Model year of the car.

11th Character: Indicates which plant assembled the vehicle.

Last 6 Characters: Serial number of the vehicle.

OEM is an abbreviation for Original Equipment Manufacturer.

It means the parts are made directly by the car manufacturer, not by a third party.

OEM parts, because they’re made by the manufacturer to fit the specifications of a particular make and model, tend to fit perfectly.

When it comes to collision repairs, it is best to get OEM parts. OEM parts are what your vehicle was manufactured with.

After-market parts are made of lower quality material. Body panels may not fit properly, because they are made by a third party. They may not have proper crumble zones for safety crash.

Four Basic Consumer Rights...

1. While an insurance company may discuss the benefits of its direct repair program, it cannot make you choose its auto repair shop. That choice is yours.

2. Except for window glass repair, an insurance company cannot recommend a particular shop unless you ask for a recommendation.

3. An insurance company cannot tell you to go to its shop to get your damaged car inspected. The insurer must meet you at some place and time reasonably convenient to you.

4. An insurance company cannot tell you that you have to repair your vehicle in order to get paid. If you have damage, the insurer must pay the cost of repairing that damage, whether or not you choose to repair the vehicle.
